DESCRIPTION
Team Malta is praying for Student Residency interns to join our team who desire a growing relationship with the Lord, are responding to His leading to share the Gospel in word and deed, are willing to get out of their comfort zones, and are not afraid of hard work. Ministry focus will include; children, youth, university students, and young adults. Your primary ministry focus will be determined by your interests, calling, and Team Malta needs. You will use your passion for the Lord, talents, interests, and experiences along with historically successful strategies to meet people, build witnessing relationships, and gather them into groups including Bible studies. Why join Team Malta? Foremost, join only if God is leading you to do so. Other lesser considerations are that Malta offers the immediate opportunity to connect with people through English as it is one of two official languages. Malta is currently growing and modernizing which is providing an openness to everything, revealing more than ever the need for values and meaning that only come with a personal relationship with the Lord. Malta is a southern gateway to Europe and experiencing the ‘nations of the world’ coming for various reasons including learning English. Malta is a beautiful Mediterranean island nation offering nearly endless ministry opportunities. The ultimate goal for Team Malta is to be growing disciples of Jesus’ who are faithful to His commission to “make disciples of all nations”. (Therefore, our target is to develop a disciple making relationship with anyone and everyone God leads us to meet and join them as they become Jesus’ disciple makers who are faithful to the Great Commission.)
