DESCRIPTION

In a culture full of post-modern spirituality, where students are seeking a higher meaning to life, there is a great need for Truth Tellers to lovingly point them to the One True God. We are looking for humble and courageous people to join our team for 4 months to serve in a local church and to spend four days per week on university campuses, where many students have never heard the full gospel. You will help with conversational English clubs and use your own gifts and interests to make friends and speak truth to people looking for hope and peace.

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field and emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
