A pastor from the U.S., center, prays with two men who teach the Brazilian martial art of capoeira in Lagarto, Ecuador. Capoeira is a combination of dance and gymnastics developed by African Brazilians. The coastal area of Ecuador is home to the Afro-Ecuadorian people group, descendants of shipwrecked slaves. One of the men gave the pastor a demonstration of some capoeira moves. The pastor, in turn, asks them to pray with him.
