Missionary Carol Henson with Monserratt Aguilera in Santiago, Chile, 1982. “You reach the children, and then you have an open door to talk to the parents,” Henson said. At this time in her ministry, she served as Vacation Bible School director in Chile and organized training for workers and produced materials for 25,000 participants each year. Often her work with children—and the relationships she developed with their parents—led to new church plants.
