In 1989, Toni Myers returned to Vietnam for the first time in 15 years. She and husband, Lewis, former missionaries to Vietnam, were on furlough in the US in 1975 when they learned they could not return. After their decade and a half of hard work and deep love for the people, they weren’t able to even say goodbye. Here Toni talks to medical workers outside a Vietnamese hospital Southern Baptists helped build in the 1980s.
