Please pray for upcoming outreach visits in 2025 to Deaf after-school programs and Deaf job-training centers in West Africa. The Deaf team writes: "As gospel sign-language stories are shared each week, pray that we will be able to continue engaging the groups as they sign. May they remember that there is hope in Christ for eternal life."

"As our Deaf team in West Africa embarks upon a new year, your prayers are humbly requested for the Lord's guidance and direction in 1) maximizing opportunities to share His Word with Deaf communities of different faiths, and 2) approaching new village areas that have Deaf communities in need of learning God's Word."

As they serve, local harvest workers are often faced with physical, emotional and spiritual attacks from the evil one. Please pray for Mariama, a local believer who has been instrumental in teaching sign language. She has been facing various instabilities that have hindered her ministry. Pray for complete healing and restoration and for renewed service within the Deaf community.

The gift of salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ is open to everyone, but local residents in West Africa who accept, believe, and trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior may undergo severe persecution and rejection by family, friends, co-workers, and community leaders. Mamadou is a Deaf local believer who teaches at a Deaf school. He is an amazing role model for the students and is making an impact upon their future education. Please pray that the Lord will continue to give him strength, courage, and perseverance in the ministry, and ask that Mamadou will not be hindered in his calling to serve the Deaf community.

Those serving among the Deaf in West Africa write: "Life on the field has its joys and challenges, everything from relocating to a nearby city to exercising patience in waiting for travel documents to seeking God's guidance concerning new ministry opportunities. We are thankful for your prayers during this season of transition. Please continue to pray for us as we share God's light and hope throughout the Deaf communities."
