Worker Nellie Valjean shares: "The Father has answered our prayers! We have one person transferring soon to our team in Southeast Asia and another arriving early next year. We still have a few people interested who are in the application process and waiting for confirmation. Please continue praying for those who are joining us and those who are still waiting. Praise God for His faithfulness!"

A young woman was recently signing with an older gentleman in a housing project about the importance of having a relationship with Jesus. Many Deaf do not have a good relationship with their families, nor do they know that they are accepted by God and can have a loving relationship with our Heavenly Father. This gentleman was amazed at what he learned about Jesus and the Father! He had never heard it before in a way that he could understand. Pray for more workers to come and share the good news with those, like this gentleman, who do not know the hope and belonging they can have in God's family.

Workers Jon and Nellie Valjean write: "One new experience for us was meeting a Deaf woman in a small village. We learned about this woman from other workers who were sharing the good news with the villagers. The woman was the only Deaf person in her village, and her parents didn't know how to communicate with her, so she had very little language. While meeting with her, Jon and our local partners were able to teach her some signs, and she received a sign name. We are thankful for an organization that desires to share the gospel with all people, no matter their abilities or their location: from the smallest and farthest villages to the largest megacities, from the differently abled to the mightiest king, from the unnamed child to the famous superstars." Pray for this Deaf woman to clearly understand the good news of Jesus.

Ten years ago, workers Jon and Nellie Valjean landed in the northern part of a Southeast Asian country. They began to disciple a Deaf couple with a young family. The father then discipled his son, who has grown into a young man. Last year, the son started attending a university in the capital city. He took the lessons taught by his father and began sharing them with his classmates. Over the past year, seven college students have come to faith and have been baptized. Five attended the Deaf Theological Training, and they are going out and sharing with their friends, classmates, and co-workers. Since the training, many more are interested in knowing more about Jesus. Jon and Nellie write: "Join in praising our Heavenly Father for how He is working in these young hearts! Pray that many Deaf university students will become followers of Jesus. We are thankful that we get to witness His work."

Thank you for praying for Deaf Ukrainian refugees, Oliver and Marianna. They recently faced a situation with the government regarding their status and paperwork. The government requires refugees to be employed, and workers were trying to provide documentation of this couple's employment by nonprofit partners from the United States through translation work that they assist with. The hope was that the documents would be accepted so that Oliver and Marianna could continue to move ahead with ministry. However, despite a guarantee, the shipping company failed to transport the official letters in time, so letters were printed and signed, and the couple was sent on their way with those "unofficial" copies. Give thanks to God for giving them favor with the government officials! Thank Him that the government officials accepted this couple since they had the money to pay the taxes and the insurance! Oliver and Marianna no longer have the same refugee status as before, but they now have extra expenses for those two monthly items: insurance and taxes. Pray that their faith will be strengthened as they continue trusting God's plan.
