Please pray for the believers who have been mentored and discipled, asking that they will be faithful in their walk with the Lord. Pray that they will be obedient and share their faith and also teach others to do the same. Only by obedience can they see fruit and growth. Without the sharing and planting of seeds, there will be no harvest.

Please pray for wisdom and discernment concerning how to engage the many different people groups in northern Pakistan with the gospel. Ask for hearts and minds prepared to hear the good news among the Kohistani, Rajkoti, Palula, Damel, Kalkoti, Yidgha, Galo, Ushojo, and Gowro peoples. They are all unengaged, unreached people groups.

Fatima enjoys meeting up with her believing colleague, Laura. They always seem to get into some interesting and deep conversations. She has always loved reading stories of the prophets, and when Laura asked if she'd like to read the Bible, Fatima was eager to do so. Now they read together almost every time they meet. Recently, as these women began to read the words of God, Fatima seemed really convicted of her sin but just could not accept the idea that Jesus had paid for her sin with His life. She left Laura's house with the idea/hope that "if I can remember that there is punishment for sin, then maybe I'll be able to stop sinning." There are many other Shia of the desert like Fatima. Please pray that they will see the futility of this mindset and accept the grace that Jesus Christ offers. "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV).

(dhoon-DHAR) - Please pray for the 1.6 million people living in the Sawai Madhopur (pronounced suh-WAH-ee MAH-duh-poor) district situated in northwestern India. There are few known believers in this area; however, there is some church-planting activity. Approximately 87% of the population is Hindu, 12% is Muslim, and 0.07% is Christian. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out more laborers into the harvest fields (Luke 10:2), and ask Him to empower and guide His servants to families who are ready to hear and believe. Pray for many Hindus and Muslims to hear and understand the gospel, believe, and be baptized this year. Pray for the formation of healthy churches in all 818 villages of Sawai Madhopur to the glory of God!

Walid came to faith a while back, and once he met with other believers, he naturally became the leader. He prioritizes meeting and genuinely cares for all who attend. The past couple of years, he has grown in his leadership, teaching ability, and administrative skills. Give thanks to God for the growth in Walid's life! Walid is continuing to shepherd his flock and meet with others who are open to the truth. Pray for wisdom and guidance as he leads the local church. Ask for protection over him from the evil one as he does the Lord's work. Also, Walid is single but would love to have a family. Pray that the Lord will bring a woman of God into his life for him to marry or else give him contentment in singleness.

"We are praising God for the many Easter outreach events and gospel sharing opportunities that took place during the Easter season. Please pray with us for those who heard the gospel, perhaps for the first time. May they hunger to know more and seek after truth. We pray for local believers who will be following up and reaching out to those who attended the outreach events."

(kahm-PAH-lah) - The Karamojong are a shepherding warrior tribe from northeastern Uganda. They are strong people who believe that cattle are the most important thing in life--even more than life itself. In Kampala, some of the Karamojong are trapped in slums. False promises of a better life have left many to beg on the streets. But some are finding hope through Jesus. Please pray for the Karamojong in the slums of Kampala. Ask that they will hear the gospel and turn to Christ. Pray for the one missionary who is engaging them, and ask the Lord for wisdom, guidance, and perseverance in that difficult task. Pray against the bondage of alcohol in this community, and ask that people will have clear minds in order to hear the Word. Pray for biblical pastors from other tribes in Kampala to be willing to help evangelize the Karamojong in the city. "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few" (Matthew 9:37 ESV).

(EE-sahn) - The oldest house church that the Isaan Team works with has begun construction on a new building. Please pray that their financial needs will be met and that this church will continue to be salt and light in their community.

(chi-KUN-duh) - Not all Zambian believers are able to receive a formal Bible education. There is a Bible School that occurs in several rural areas of the country to provide that opportunity. Please pray for the Bible School that will be held on April 22 -26 in the area where the Chikunda live.

Every year, many Muslims go to an historic site to make a pilgrimage. They believe this site (an old Orthodox church) to be holy. They believe that if they walk in silence, trailing a string behind them and sometimes even going barefoot, their prayers will be answered. They also tie fabric to trees so the wind will carry their prayers to God. Many believers and churches use this day as an opportunity to proclaim truth to those on pilgrimage. Pray that the believers will find favor in the eyes of the authorities and that those teaching false gospels will be silenced. Pray for the lost who'll hear the gospel, asking that their hearts will be softened. Pray that they'll remember the conversations they had and even share what they heard with others.

"Please pray for a national partner retreat happening April 23-26. This retreat is a time of worship, teaching, encouragement, testimonies, and prayer. The work here could not advance without these national partners. We love them. Pray for them. They live and serve in some difficult circumstances."

Please lift up Carol and her family as they grieve the loss of her unbelieving uncle. Pray that this will cause other lost family members to seek the hope and life found only in Jesus.
