Saleiha had become discouraged, but another believer has been able to meet with her weekly, and it has been such a blessing for them both. She has been a sister in Christ for three years but only knew of others over the internet. The Lord used dreams to reveal Himself to her, which led to lots of internet searching for truth. Her faith appears strong, but her knowledge of the Word is weak. She even remarked that if she knew the Word, she would be able to convince others to follow Christ. Praise the Lord that Saleiha wants to grow in understanding and knowledge of the truth and desires for her people to know this truth! Pray for her to be connected with other believers and meet with the local body regularly. This is often a challenging task due to so much distrust in the local culture. She has been encouraged by her time of meeting with the one believer. Pray that they will continue to meet and establish a regular rhythm of growing in the basics of the faith.

(TAH-jeeks) - Many Tajiks have very difficult lives, particularly in the wintertime. Electricity can be scarce, as can water, and their houses become very cold. They have financial struggles, difficulty finding work, and difficulty just having the essentials they need, never mind want. From a worldly perspective, they have many reasons to feel hopeless. Pray for Tajiks to have opportunities this season to hear about their only hope, Jesus. May they recognize the joy, hope, and peace that can be found in Him, no matter the circumstances!

(suh-RARE) - A worker writes: "This country is 95% Muslim and 4% Catholic. When I say that I am a Christian, Muslims assume that I am Catholic and a worshiper of the Virgin Mary, thus an idolater. Catholics here pray to and worship the Virgin Mary and take offense that as an evangelical Christian, I pray only in the name of Jesus Christ. As the month of December begins and the Christmas season rolls around, pray for opportunities for us to share the truth about the divinity of Jesus Christ, who was born of the Virgin Mary, a woman who was only a human being and a humble servant of the Lord. This country is filled with many lies regarding the one true God. Pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us to hearts that are seeking the truth."

(RYN, RUE-er) - The SüdProjekt Church in Frankfurt is having a marriage retreat this month for church planters, pastors, and church leaders. Please pray this will be a mutually encouraging retreat for each couple. Pray also that these marriages will reflect the heart of the Lord for His Church and be a witness to the local communities where they live.

(mah-LOO-koo) - Last year, Ruth was poisoned by a woman who planned to kill her because of her faith in Jesus. Ruth and her husband have been praying for this woman for over a year in hopes of meeting with her again to share the gospel. Recently, this woman's daughter contacted Ruth and her husband and asked for prayer because her mom is sick and in the hospital. So, Ruth and her husband traveled to visit this woman and shared with her again. Pray for this woman and her family to believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Historically, the Bilala of Chad were nomads, but they are now a settled people who earn their living through agriculture. This population of 414,000 speak the Naba language. Many also speak Chadian Arabic. For over a decade, there was a strong Christian presence in part of the Bilala homelands. Today, there are Scripture recordings in Naba, and the Bible in written and audio form is available in Chadian Arabic. "The sower sows the word. . . . But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold" (Mark 4:14, 20 ESV). Pray for the seed that was sown years ago to have fallen on good soil and to bear fruit. Ask that the Bilala will be able to access the Word of God in Naba or Chadian Arabic. Pray for them to meet believers who can explain the Word to them. Pray for the church to grow among the Bilala.

Christ is unique! One thing that makes Him unique is in His birth. He had a a miraculous birth by the power of the Holy Spirit through Mary. Muslims have a similar story of Jesus being born of Mary, so being able to share with them the true, miraculous story of Christ's birth and how that shows Him to be unique is amazing! Believers can share that Jesus is set apart, pure and holy, and thus able to be the perfect sacrifice set apart for them, bearing the sins of the world, because Jesus loves them. In India, there are so many holidays, especially during this time of year, so many people are asking and sharing about their holiday. Because of that, people are open and ready to hear about the meaning of Christmas. The holiday provides a great opportunity to host Christmas events, spread the seed broadly, and love with the love of Christ. Please pray for abundant opportunities to share during this season.

"My ministry partner and I are staying at a Seema's house," missionary explorer Lily Ferrell shared. "We shared the gospel and many other things about Jesus for over an hour with her. Seema had many questions and was very interested. She asked whether there was a caste system in Christianity like there is in Hinduism. We got to explain we are all made in the image of God and of equal value. She was surprised that God had no caste system! She was also surprised that the Bible is written in many languages. She is used to a system where only the llama (like a priest) can read the religious text. She was surprised that we have a relationship with God, and we don't have to preform rituals such as washing hands, specific bowing, and using incense to please God. Please pray for Seema. She is afraid to read the Bible because she does not want to anger her gods. This happens many times where people are very interested and love hearing about Jesus but are too afraid to leave the religion of their family. Join us in praying that God will work in her heart and that she would want to read His Word with us."

(kuh-MY) - Please lift up partnerships with Cambodian believers in local congregations throughout Western Cambodia. They will hold multiple Christmas outreach events in their local villages and neighboring villages to celebrate Christ by sharing the gospel message. Pray that there will be unity among laborers in logistics and planning so that they can withstand spiritual opposition, and please intercede that the Holy Spirit will draw people, convict them of sin, to accept Christ's forgiveness and salvation.

On December 9-12, missionaries and Congolese partners will gather for an advanced orality workshop. "One of the topics to be discussed is how we can use digital methods to reach people with the gospel. Nearly everyone in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has a cell phone with access to the internet or messaging systems. Pray with us as we talk through how we can use today's technology to reach people whom we might otherwise never meet."

(SHOW-pee) - "They sweep. They cook. They clean. They sing. They laugh. They love . . . and all this with a baby on their back and a toddler in tow. These are the Chopi women of Mozambique. Pray that their daily chores will be changed by listening to the Word on their newly distributed audio Bibles. May their songs be those of worship to their Creator. May they laugh with a joy that only new life can bring. May they love deeply because '[God] first loved us' (1 John 4:19). Please join our Southern Mozambique Team in praying for their life to be found in Christ and Christ alone. (chin-NIGH) - Pray for the city of Chennai as the rainy season continues. While rain is needed, the city quickly floods due to little drainage. Pray for the gospel to go out in a powerful way this season so that more and more people will have clarity in their eternal destiny. Pray for there to be great numbers turning to the Savior in uncertain times such as natural disasters.
