Give thanks to the Lord for providing opportunities for isolated Afar believers to gather together this winter, in answer to your prayers! Thank Him for blessing their times of Bible study and fellowship and for protecting them as they traveled! As the believers return to their homes and communities that are full of lost friends and family members, pray that they will live out the great commandment: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39 ESV). Pray that the believers will show God’s love and share the gospel with their loved ones.
