(am-uh-ZEEGH) – Instability in their homeland may be dominating the international news, but for the Amazigh of Libya, it’s just another day. Regardless of whatever is going on around them, they will cling to who they are and move about as normal. In truth, the instability has become normal. This means that they will still send their children to school, take care of the home, go to work, and visit with friends and family. They always maintain at least a little tea and snacks to provide for the unannounced guest that is almost sure to arrive. This doesn’t mean that each family always has these items on hand because a neighbor with resources is just as good as having such things themselves. Pray that as these hospitable people visit and are visited, they will be drawn to the One who served and provided more than any other person throughout history.
