(ahn-GEE-kah) – Bhagalpur is the geographic center of Angikaland, and it is a region characterized by great spiritual warfare. This has often resulted in riots large and small between Hindus and Muslims living in the district. During this Christmas season, pray for the One whose “name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6 ESV) to establish peace in this fortress of the evil one so that all peoples in Bhagalpur may have everlasting joy.
