(SHEE-ah) – As a young child, Wafa had many questions. The teachers at her religious school discouraged her from asking questions and told her to be silent and submit humbly to traditional teaching. Wafa knew in her heart that God did not want her to stifle her creative and inquisitive mind. She has started to read the teachings of Jesus and was surprised to discover that in the Bible, Adam, Moses, Abraham, David, and many others questioned God. He was not offended, and He did not ask them to silently submit. The Bible has opened Wafa’s eyes to the Almighty God who meets the needs of His people and desires an intimate relationship with them. Pray that Wafa’s questions will lead her to truth and that the Holy Spirit will open her heart to salvation.
