(SHEE-ah) – The Arab Gulf Shia have faced many trials in the past month with the war in their region. They have heard missiles fly overhead and have seen buildings blow up in their towns. It has been a very hard time for these peace-loving people who live in close proximity to Iran. Please pray for them today. Ask that family members can talk to one another about the fear that comes from dealing with the trauma of war. Pray that they will be willing to turn to others for help. Ask that doctors, nurses, counselors, and friends will be available to them, and that they will even find some who know the Lord. Pray that the Arab Gulf Shia will call upon God and that He will hear them. Pray especially that they will hear about the Savior who loves them and can heal them. “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13 ESV).
