Basam grew up in the Orthodox church. He has been engaging in many conversations about religion and the differences between Protestant and Orthodox theology. He has been reading with a believer in Flowertown for many months and is beginning to see the works-based life that many of those around him are putting their faith in. Pray for Basam, asking that he will take a step of faith to trust and follow Jesus alone for his salvation. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8 ESV).
