(uh-WAH-dee) – Please continue to lift up the leadership development groups. They meet monthly to study theology, effective Word study, and discipleship methods, as well as leadership development material. The meetings have been very effective in equipping and raising up capable leaders to care for the needs of the congregations in the wake of the growth the Lord has brought to the area. Some leaders have said that it has revitalized their congregations, and others have said that it has given them the knowledge and tools needed to manage and grow the work well. These meetings have also proven useful in sharpening, encouraging, and fostering cooperation among leaders. While these groups have been very useful, the costs are high, and it is difficult to raise enough funds to cover the costs. Pray that those leading the groups will be able to manage everything and steward the resources effectively, and pray that the participants will become self-supporting and replicate these efforts in their fields of service.
