Baloch of the Arab Gulf

(buh-LOHCH) – Dara and her oldest daughter are both very devout Muslims, but they recently met with a Christian and expressed curiosity about her faith. They were especially intrigued that she didn’t need to submit to rules and regulations in order to be spiritually clean. Instead, the Christian told them that she was made clean by the sacrifice of Jesus. This led to a conversation about forgiveness and what is considered the “biggest sin.” The Christian shared that Jesus did many miracles and even rose from the dead, proving that He was God’s Sent One. In addition, the Christian quoted John 14:6 (ESV), where Jesus says that He is “the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through [him].” “Thus,” the Christian concluded, “The biggest sin is to deny Jesus, since God has given so much proof that He was who He said He was.” After this, the Christian played some audio Scriptures for them, and they were amazed at the account of Jesus raising the dead 12-year-old girl. They were curious and wanted to hear more stories. Please pray for Dara and her daughter. May this interest grow into genuine repentance and new birth!
