(BANG-kok) – “Our men are spiritually weak,” one pastor told a Baptist representative. “It’s normal; men in the church don’t typically spend time with God in the Word or in prayer, even if their wife does,” added another Thai brother in Christ. Faith Baptist Church of Bangkok has prayerfully decided that their theme for 2025 is: “Be Transformed.” The pastor wants to begin by challenging the men of the church specifically to step up and fulfill their role as spiritual leaders and men of faith. Please pray for wisdom as local believers and field workers alike navigate moving forward and pushing these men in a culture that frowns upon directness and causing others to be embarrassed, ashamed, or to “lose face.” Pray that the Holy Spirit will embolden and encourage the men in Faith Baptist as well as churches across Thailand to pursue the Lord wholeheartedly and challenge their family and friends to do the same.
