(BANG-kok) – “Over the last few weeks, Blessed Way Ministry has continued to see new women come to the center to learn English through Bible stories. Culturally, women from the red-light district shy away from discussing their personal lives, but we have had a few speak openly to us more recently, which has helped us to better understand their struggles and needs. With that said, we have also observed that many of the women find their worth or consider a large part of their identity to be tied up in the work that they do. Please pray they will see themselves differently as they continue to hear Bible stories from our team members and hear about God’s love for them. Pray that they would begin to understand what true love is and that the source of that love is Jesus Christ, not anything the world has to offer them. Pray for our team members moving forward, specifically that they would have the Lord’s wisdom and guidance to be able to speak clearly to these ladies in a way that they can understand these truths but also in a way that demonstrates the love of Christ to them as they meet each week.”
