On January 7, Bangladesh will have national elections. A large group of people who do not approve of the sitting government are not given a voice in the election process; therefore, there are times when they fight back by burning buses, thus limiting travel between cities. Regardless of which Bangladeshi party wins the election, the country needs to repent and turn to God. As you lift up the people of Bangladesh during this time, please also intercede for the people of other South Asian countries that will be holding elections in the spring: India and Pakistan. With all of these elections, 1.85 billion people will have the potential of receiving a government that allows Christian activity and outreach.
