(BED-oo-in) – For many of the Bedouins of Libya, the shifting seasons mean that it’s time to move. The winter months are spent deep in the desert, enjoying the rains and grasses for their herds, and the summer months are spent on the edges of the desert or in villages and towns where the climate is not as harsh and they and their animals can survive. When it is time to move, the patriarch of the clan makes the decision, and everyone packs up. It’s kind of like packing your car for vacation, but it can get a little tricky packing all your material possessions on top of a camel! Once everyone has packed, they make the journey together to their next place. They know this “road” very well. As the Bedouin travel this road, pray that they will see the beauty around them and have dreams and visions of Jesus. Ask that they will come to know Him as Savior and spread word of Him across the desert as they move around.
