(bohj-POOR-ee) – Heading into the area, the sprawling green fields, livestock, and small villages immediately give a sense of how remote and isolated that place has been for hundreds of years. Before the new means of reaching that area was developed, the Lord had already sent a nearby church leader named Jitendar to that community. Jitendar had studied the Hindu scriptures with Brahmin priests, but the Lord saved him from his emptiness and now he’s passionate for others to come into God’s kingdom. He shepherds a house church in the area and wants everyone to hear the gospel. Pray for God’s strength and protection over Jitendar as he works in that remote place. Pray that the church members will grow in their faith and share the good news with all their neighbors so that their church will multiply. Ask God to help Jitendar raise up local leaders from the area to shepherd new churches.
