A group of local believers began gathering weekly for church after observing and participating in church meetings over several years. Eventually, they felt ready to meet regularly on their own. One member, Mehdi, stepped into a leadership role and began learning how to teach the Bible. However, after a couple of years, the meetings became less consistent. The group grew hesitant to invite new believers and has remained isolated. Some members have become apathetic and disengaged, and the leader feels discouraged, unsure of how to encourage the church. Please pray for these believers. Ask that they will understand the importance of meeting together and loving one another as the body of Christ. Ask the Lord to encourage and renew Mehdi’s vision for church. Pray that God will bring new believers into the group and help them to develop a genuine love for one another. Also ask the Lord to give them a deep hunger for fellowship and to make this church a light in their region.
