Cape Town, South Africa

(KAYP town) – Many people are accustomed to spending hours on the internet daily. On the continent of Africa, teenagers and young adults spend 90% of their day on their smartphones. They might not have a computer, but their phones connect them to the world. Since they are on their phones so much, reaching them with the gospel digitally is a viable way to share the gospel. On a continent where hope appears to blow away like Saharan dust in the wind, the truth of the gospel can take root readily in hearts. Pray for digital engagement missions to speak gospel truth to African people through the internet. Ask God to prepare the hearts of the people who will hear or read about His love and the salvation He provides through belief in Jesus. Pray that the Bible truths these people hear and read will take root in their hearts and minds. Thank the Father for making evangelism available to reach people in remote areas where the gospel might not have reached otherwise!
