(KAYP town) – “You have prayed for the ministry that missionaries Charles and Dohee Kim began a year ago in the township of Nomzamo in Cape Town, South Africa. Your praying helped that field to become ripe for harvesting. A year ago, 10 students began meeting after school with the Kims. They created gratitude journals, studied the Bible, and learned, through the Kims’ messages from the Bible and their love for the students, that God loves them. One year later, 25 students are part of this after-school club. Of these, 22 professed faith in Jesus and were baptized in the ocean last month by the Kims and other members of our Cape Town Metro Evangelism Team. Praise God that the harvest is reaping a bounty! Please pray for more schools to open their doors to the Kims and their Christian partners. Ask the Father to send more harvest laborers. Plead with God to touch the hearts of other students, allowing them to hear the gospel and believe in Jesus. Ask God to keep the students safe during the summer break, which began in December. Praise God that more students have believed and will impact their world with the gospel!”
