Many Middle Eastern countries have large populations of foreigners who speak languages other than Arabic. Ethnic churches provide community for believers. Please pray that the Lord will send shepherds to the Chinese-speaking churches in the Middle East that currently lack pastors. “And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding” (Jeremiah 3:15 ESV). Also, pray that the believers in these pastor-less Chinese churches in the Middle East will be established as disciples of the Lord. “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31b-32 ESV).
