“Thank you for praying for the July summer outreach projects,” writes the Chinese in the United Kingdom Team. “We now have 28 volunteers from the United States, including two churches, who will be coming to Manchester, Cambridge, and Canterbury, England. During their time in the UK, they will reach international students from around the globe in cooperation with our local partners. The Manchester project will be on July 4-18, the Canterbury project will be on July 5-12, and the Cambridge projects will be on July 5-19 and July 19 through August 2. During the month, there will be many opportunities to engage students through evening cafés. Students can participate in activities and Bible discussions, sporting activities, English practice, and outings, and they will also be invited to Sunday worship services. Please pray for wisdom, spiritual protection, intentionality, and unity as the volunteers connect with students. Pray that these interactions will spark curiosity about Jesus and lead to meaningful conversations. May the gospel be shared with boldness and sensitivity, resulting in transformed lives and fruitful follow-up. Also pray that these outreach efforts will expand the volunteers’ perspective and inspire hearts for long-term overseas service.”
