“Before moving to the field for language study,” a worker writes, “my husband and I asked the Lord for a local friend who spoke English and needed Christ. He gave us Peter, the property manager of our apartment building. We greeted him regularly and soon became friends. The Lord opened doors for spiritual conversations. We invited Peter and his family to church, and they showed up! Around Christmas, we shared the gospel with them and gifted Peter a bilingual Bible. He was amazed because, unbeknownst to us, he’d been planning to buy one. As he began reading, he had many questions, which allowed more gospel conversations. Recently, over lunch, we confirmed that Peter wants to follow Jesus and be baptized. Praise the Lord! Peter said that he’d been planning to quit his job, so his boss moved him to work in our building just a few months before we arrived. God placed Peter in the right place and time to connect with believers and encounter His Word. Thank the Lord for answering our prayers! Pray that Peter will continue to grow in Christ and that his wife and daughter will also surrender to Jesus. Pray for us as we continue to love and disciple Peter.”
