Chinese People in Spain

The almost 9,000 Chinese in Zaragoza, in the northeast part of the Spanish Peninsula, comprise the third largest expat population after Morrocans and Nicaraguans. There is only one local Chinese church to serve them all. In June of this year, for their first time, this Chinese church will receive a volunteer team from Texas. “We will be hosting a Vacation Bible School and English Camp,” workers said. “We will also be prayerwalking, evangelizing on the street, and mapping the city for later visitation. We pray our Chinese church will practice missions with the U.S. team and be encouraged to witness among Chinese and others in Zaragoza. We also want our Texan volunteers to have a challenging, rewarding, and satisfying experience. Pray with us for that, and that many believers and non-believers, Chinese children and youth will participate in the camp. Pray that each Texas and local Chinese volunteer will minister out of a life filled with Jesus’ presence. Pray that the Sunday school and youth workers of this church will be strengthened and encouraged through this mission experience, and that the Lord will add more bilingual workers to serve the second generation in this church.”
