Refka and Bolis feel God’s call to minister to the children of believers from a Muslim background. They opened a center where they teach a mixture of academics and Bible stories to these children who, in most cases, haven’t attended school. If children of believers from a Muslim background attend public school, they must go to an Islamic studies class. Therefore, parents do not send them there for fear of what will happen when it becomes obvious that the children and their parents follow Jesus. Pray for Refka and Bolis and the children they teach. Petition for wisdom in knowing how best to help the children succeed academically. Ask that the children and their families will grow in their knowledge of the Bible through Refka and Bolis’ Bible studies. Pray for other families of believers from a Muslim background to find ways to teach their children academics in a safe environment.
