Living in an area where the top two religions are Islam and Hinduism, Asia never heard about Jesus. When she enrolled at the Baptist Hospital Health College, Asia began attending movie night. Unknown to her, the purpose of the event was outreach to nonbelievers. The weekly films are always faith-based and when Asia watched “The Chosen,” she became enthralled with Jesus. Week by week she gained Christian friends, even a Christian boyfriend, and attended Bible studies. The campus minister talked about the gospel with Asia, and she wanted to follow Jesus. After weighing the cost of baptism and asking additional questions, Asia and her boyfriend decided to be immersed as followers of Jesus. In the corner of a swimming pool during campus break as several Christian classmates looked on, Asia and Ari publicly declared their personal faith in Christ. Pray for them as they grow mature in their faith. Pray that they will meet regularly with the campus minister. Give thanks for a Christian college that supports students hearing the gospel. May Asia and Ari witness boldly to their classmates who also do not yet believe in Jesus.
