Marwa was raised by Muslim parents and believes that if you’re born into a Muslim family in a Muslim country, you can’t change religions. Both of her parents are trained professionals, and her father, especially, is a devout Muslim. Her mother sent her to a French school when she was growing up so that she would be aware of new ideas. She has been exposed to other religions but has never felt the freedom to think for herself about which religion she wants to follow. Marwa heard the gospel for the first time in December 2024. Now she is curious and wants to study the Bible. Pray for the Lord to open her heart to see that His Word is true. Ask the Holy Spirit to draw her to Himself and show her that Jesus is the Light in this dark world. “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'” (John 8:12 ESV).
