Last summer, some believers met Heba, and as they shared the gospel with her, she expressed a desire to know more. After several weeks of reading the Word together, she began meeting regularly with a group of believers. Heba eagerly asked thoughtful and sometimes challenging questions. Recently, after gathering with other women in the city to read the Word, she went home and was overcome by severe stomach pains. She prayed in Jesus’ name for relief, and the pain immediately stopped. She sensed that God was pursuing her personally. That night, she had a dream about Jesus. She doesn’t remember all of it, but she does remember that she was in a boat with Jesus. When she woke up, she made the decision to follow Him wholeheartedly. Praise God! One month later, she was baptized by local believers. Pray that Heba will stand firm as she learns what it means to follow Jesus, and ask God to give her perseverance in her new faith. Pray for sisters in the faith to have wisdom as they disciple her. Praise the Lord that He is working through believers to build His kingdom as they faithfully share and build relationships!
