Dakar, Senegal

(dah-KAR) –

“The people also gathered from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all healed” (Acts 5:16 ESV). Workers write: “Medical clinics are an effective way to help the local population and share the gospel with those who may never have heard. One such medical clinic will be serving an area of Dakar this spring. They hope to see 200-300 people. It can provide a great witness for Jesus Christ and the love that God has for people! A person coming for help has an initial evaluation. They then go to the prayer room where, if they wish, they may have someone pray for them and their concerns. Then, as they wait their turn, there is a film being shown that bears witness to Christ. Please pray for the love of Christ to be seen as we care for the physical needs of the people in the community. Intercede for the health and stamina of the volunteer team helping with the clinic. Pray for those in the local church who will be sharing the gospel and praying for those who pass through the prayer room.”
