Danes of Denmark

Christmas Eve (or Juleaften) is the most-attended church event of the entire year in Denmark. However, due to increased secularization, this is largely viewed as mere tradition, having little to do with worshiping Jesus Christ or understanding the incarnation. Please pray for believers and gospel-preaching churches in Denmark to boldly proclaim the hope of the gospel this Christmas season, offering light in the midst of a spiritually dark society, which has “the appearance of godliness, but [denies] its power” (2 Timothy 3:5a ESV).
