Workers Madeline and Victor Hawthorne serve among the Deaf in Southeast Asia. They share: “This summer’s theological students are hosting an outreach event to put their new gospel-sharing tools to the test. Pray for the students as they share and for those with whom they will share. A few in this group have never seen the names ‘Jesus’ or ‘God’ before. They’ve also never been to school, cannot read or write, and never learned the sign language of our host country. Communicating with them is challenging, but not impossible, because God is God of all.”
