(deh-KAH-nee) – Over the past year, one of the primary people groups whose churches have engaged in bold Muslim evangelism are the Pardhi people. They have the reputation for being thieves and robbers. As they’ve been threatened by their animistic community with police cases over their faith in Jesus, they simply say, “You know us — what bad things we used to do. Now are we doing those things? Which way do you think we should follow: the old way or the new way?” The police have encouraged them to remain strong in their newfound way! God has been at work among the Pardhi, and they are no longer classified as an unengaged, unreached people group. Praise God, as He has thrust them out among Muslims! Pray that God will help them to remain faithful in loving Him and loving others by proclaiming the love of God found in Jesus!
