(deh-KAH-nee) – Through school conversations with a believing family in 2025, a Muslim mother, Aila, heard the gospel for the first time. She had sent her children to that school specifically for the reputation it had for providing a good education. God used that in Aila’s life to enable her to truly consider the salvation that Jesus brings. It wasn’t long afterwards that she believed! Things got harder. Her husband left her for another woman, leaving her and her children to fend for themselves. Aila returned to her mother and her relatives’ home. It was there that her mother began seeing changes in Aila’s behavior. Aila told her that it was because of Jesus and the gospel. Soon, Alia’s children and mother professed faith in Christ, too! Aila had lost the phone number of that believing family who’d shared the gospel with her, yet the Lord brought them together via mutual friends just after Easter this year! They rejoiced to hear of all the things the Lord has been doing. Praise God for His goodness and mercy, bringing salvation to Aila and, through her, to her family! Pray that many more from Aila’s family will be drawn to faith in Jesus through her testimony.
