(deh-KAH-nee) – It seems that a new era has begun in the Deccan region. Ten years ago, it felt as if many churches in the area were apathetic toward sharing the gospel, let alone among Muslims. But God is sanctifying His Church in the Deccan, growing them up in their faith, empowering them with a gentle boldness! A meeting of several families from one church this past month has resulted in their now being confident in what to say and how to say it and connecting with Muslims in ways that they hadn’t before. Praise God for what He is doing! Give thanks to Him for their genuine love for God and for the people whom He places around them! Thank Him for the relationships that are deepening around the person and work of the Lord Jesus! Pray that God will open the eyes of those who are hearing the gospel so that they, too, may see the kindness of God, leading them to repentance.
