(DER-bun) – Missionary apprentice Leslie Montgomery, who serves in Durban, South Africa, works in partnership with a Great Commission Christian organization on university campuses. She reports: “I have the honor and privilege of leading a women’s Bible study on Friday afternoons. This semester, our group is going through the study by Angie Smith called ‘Seamless.’ Meeting with them has truly been the highlight of my year in ministry. I look forward to Fridays and love to watch as the young women discover how to piece together the people, places, and promises of the Bible by the one, seamless thread from Genesis to Revelation. What a joy it has been to watch their eyes light up when they make a connection, to hear the excitement in their voice as they remember who belongs to whom and where they came from! To hear their questions and thoughts has been an incredible experience.” Please join Leslie in praying for these young women, asking that their spiritual eyes and ears will be opened to God’s story and how it applies to them. May their eyes be opened to recognize Jesus as their Savior. “And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him” (Luke 24:31 ESV).
