A recent Missions Residency program student spent two months helping spread the message of Jesus in neighborhoods in Rome. This student is now back in the United States praying about his future. Pray for wisdom for this young man, and other volunteers who have come through Rome over the past five years, that God will lay on each of their hearts exactly what He is calling them to. Pray that God will guide them toward the path to getting there. And please pray that any God is calling to Rome in the next few months and years will respond faithfully to His call, whether it be some of these volunteers or others. Pray for leadership in Rome to know who and how to recruit to bring new personnel to the city to serve as catalysts in emerging ministries. Pray that God will go before these workers and ignite a yearning in the hearts of those in Rome, a yearning for truth that will bring the lost to faith in Christ, and a yearning for growth that will lead existing local believers to new depths of service in God’s kingdom.
