Missionaries are reaching out to local Canadian Baptist National Convention churches to discover partners willing to share in the spiritual harvest of the growing population of Chinese immigrants. Many of these churches have Chinese visitors and members but are not reaching them with the gospel in their own language. “Father God, as we reach out to the local churches, we ask You to lead us to like-minded brothers and sisters who are burdened to share Your good news and make disciples in the heart language of those You have brought to them. We pray for a spiritual awakening and great harvest of souls among the ethnic Chinese of the greater Toronto area.” “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” (Romans 10:14-15 ESV).
