“We are deeply grateful to God for opening doors at the University of Toronto, allowing us the privilege of working with the students,” missionaries said. “This month, many new Chinese students will be arriving, directly from China. Our team will be able to minister to them by hosting English as a Second Language (ESL) gatherings, playing games, sharing meals and developing friendships that lead to gospel conversations. Please pray that God will prepare their hearts to receive the gospel and that He will open doors for meaningful conversations. Dear Father God, we give you praise and thanks for this wonderful opportunity to work with these new Chinese students at the University of Toronto. Please open their hearts to hear Your good news, and give us boldness, wisdom and guidance in sharing Your love and gospel with these young people. ‘How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:14-15 ESV).
