(EH-kwuh TOR-ee-ul GIH-nee) – The population of the entire nation of Equatorial Guinea is approximately the same as that of the city of Phoenix, Arizona, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but the people live spread out over five major volcanic islands and a small mainland. Their tropical weather is always hot and humid, which puts the people at high risk for food and waterborne diseases as well as malaria and dengue fever. Pray for doctors and nurses who are followers of Jesus to show His love and mercy to their patients in such a way that the patients will realize that they are being ministered to in Jesus’ name. Pray for medical personnel who know the Lord to have opportunities to share the gospel despite their hectic schedules.
