A few church leaders recently traveled to another country for a meeting in which they talked through ministry strategy for the local church. One of the men is older, and he is looking to pass leadership on to two younger men. The younger men are filled with excitement at the opportunities that lie ahead, but they are unsure of what direction the Lord is leading them. Pray that God will give these men wisdom as they discern what kind of projects to invest in. Pray for the leadership transition that is in process, asking that the Lord will provide unity in the midst of transition and trust in the new leadership. Pray for the older man who is emotionally and spiritually exhausted, asking that the Lord will renew his spirit and give him direction for how he can continue to serve the Lord in this new season.
