Global City: Sao Paulo, Brazil

(soun POW-loo) –

“Upper-class and urban professionals often carry preconceived notions about Christians,” writes the Sao Paulo Global City Team. “Many see little need for God or have had negative experiences with the church in the past. To break down these barriers and build trust, we have been intentionally cultivating friendships by spending time with them and inviting them to share meals with us. Through these relationships, the Lord has opened doors for spiritual conversations and opportunities to share the gospel. Please pray for this lost group of people, asking that God will soften their hearts, continue to build trust, and allow these conversations to deepen so that many will ultimately place their faith in Christ.”
