Give thanks to God for answering your prayers for the healthcare volunteers who served this summer through Send Relief’s Serve Tour project! One new work area where a volunteer team held a clinic now has three families participating in a Bible study with the church planter. Another volunteer team went with local church planters for one day to a village where they’ve been working for several months to start a new work. There are now several new families studying God’s Word with them weekly! Churches in the capital city who hosted medical teams are so grateful for the increase in relationships and influence in their communities. One of the best stories came from a small congregation that had a medical team do a clinic inside their little church building. During the clinic, a family who lives nearby came for care. The family was so touched by the demonstration of God’s love that they wanted to express their gratitude in some way. Project funds were provided to help the church do some much-needed remodeling after Serve Tour, and the father and son of this family donated their time to do the repairs for free. They are now regularly attending the church. Praise the Lord!
