Judy is a Global Missionary Partner serving refugees in a war-torn area of the world. She writes: “Over the past year, my colleagues and I have experienced God’s immense grace … visits to the [refugee] families that I shared with you have officially concluded, and we successfully shared the gospel with one of the families who then warmly invited us to dinner. I am always touched by their hospitality. Sugar is not cheap and chicken is not something they eat every day, but our teacups were never empty, and our bowls were piled high with chicken legs. In fact, during those few months, they always invited us to eat, but we only accepted the invitation on the last visit. After leaving this family, my colleagues and I were quite worried … as the children in the family needed a lot of money for medical treatment, and we were concerned about the emotional burden on the parents. We earnestly prayed for them, and thankfully, later learned that another team had taken over the ministry for this family. Please pray that cross-cultural workers can convey the love and hope of Christ to every person suffering in hardship.”
