Hamza is from a remote village but has moved to a city to attend a university. He dreams of being a doctor or a nurse — or maybe even immigrating to a country where he would have more opportunities. Recently, while at a gym, he met a believer, and they struck up a friendship. Hamza’s new friend has shared some stories from the Bible with him, and their friendship continues to grow. Pray that as their friendship develops, Hamza will be open to hearing the truth and have an opportunity to respond. Pray that he will be interested in reading the Word with his new friend and desire to hear more stories about Jesus. “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24 ESV).
