(HAHK-uh) – Pray for Taiwan Baptist churches to become more involved in Hakka and Unengaged People Group (UPG) outreach. Approximately 20% of Taiwan’s population is Hakka with only 0.5% Christian. In addition to the Hakka population, Taiwan has UPG migrant workers from more than 10 Asian countries, most of which are Muslim, where Christian evangelism is prohibited. These migrant workers account for 2% of Taiwan’s population. Pray for a burden for the lost in these people groups and that Christians will have a sense of urgency to go into the fields of Taiwan, proclaiming Christ to the lost and being used by God to expand His kingdom. Pray that this Easter season will be one during which great throngs of unreached people will hear the victory of the crucifixion and resurrection and turn to follow Christ alone.
