(HAHK-uh) – A Hakka proverb says, “Cherish the flowers together with the pot; cherish the children together with the grandchildren.” Pray for Taiwan Hakka villages, usually located in the mountains, where children and teachers have fewer resources and where large numbers of young people move to the cities to seek work and have better educational opportunities. Pray for churches willing to devote themselves to children’s ministries which then impact entire families. Ask the Lord to grant abundant grace to the pastors, brothers, and sisters who serve in these churches. May they receive joy from the Lord and raise up the next Hakka generation to be godly and love the Lord.
