(HOE-chee-men) – Thuy’s heart sank as she saw a visitor approach her house. She hid in the back waiting for them to leave. For years An has prayed for Thuy, her unbelieving mother, and shared the gospel with her many times. Her mother has borrowed more money from lenders than she can repay. The lenders frequently send debt collectors not only to Thuy but also to her friends and family. An boldly continued to share with her mother and last week her mom prayed to receive Christ. An has talked with a pastor who lives close to her mother to try to help her get plugged into a local church. Please pray for Thuy’s faith to take deep root so that she might not fall away. Pray for her to make wise financial choices and ask the Lord to provide a way for her to pay back what she owes. Please also pray for the local church to welcome her with love and grace into the body of believers.
